@sam sullivan: I know that in your village donkeys are not used for transport anymore. Nowadays they have accounts on photopost.cz and put highly artistic pictures of bricks :))

Sam, I really think you should learn English if you are attempting to use it. Study the meaningS of "competition" and "contest: and you will hopefully understand what I've said.

Sam, I've seen your whole portfolio, and frankly I couldn't find a single photograph that I could at least call satisfactory. Absolutely uninteresting motives, no story, no dynamics, no 'chemistry' in the atmosphere, unhappy crops/framings and post-processing that works against the image. Just a bunch of shots and all the beginners have in Gigabytes on their PC's. All this perfectly explains why your photos pass so unsuccessfully and don't get any constructive comments that build upon what you've accomplished. Which, by itself, is a very obvious reason why are you so afraid of competition and feel happy when it decreases. Even though it's not actually 'competing' with you.
